French Bread Pizza!!!

Crispy CHEESIE! DELICIOUS!  Nothing beats homemade pizza!!

We made this from a fresh baguette, a few different sauces mixed together with garlic salt and shredded cheeses!  Toaster oven is key!!!  So is the layering of the sauce first, sautéed veggies second then a load of cheese on top!

We sauteed onions, green peppers and mushrooms in olive oil!!

Best part of pizza making is singing to the pizza.

Ricky love pizza more than anything.

Shopper's Value

So today for dinner I (ricky) found a little surprise in the freezer that I bought about a week ago. It was my Shoppers value cheese pizza. I actually bought two and had the first one the other week and it was delicious.  The first pizza had sausage and pepperoni on it.  For 99 cents it really doesn't get any better than these pizzas, they are not as good as Mama Celeste, but they hold their own. The sauce is super sweet too!  The key to this pizza is not to cook them in the microwave but to use a toaster oven. The toaster oven really brings out the taste in the CRUST!!! I cant really say anything bad about these pizzas because there is nothing bad about them. In  conclusion: 99 cent shoppers value pizza... most definitely RIPs!!!

Olive Garden

So Ricky's dad gave him a re-gifted $25 gift certificate to the Olive Garden and on our journey to get him some new socks at the South Bay Shopping Center we decided to put that thing to good use and go eat some "authentic" Italian food at the Olive Garden so we opted for pizza obviously.  Apparently the Olive Gardens online menu's are too in depth to give us the name of this pizza.. BUT it was the only one on the menu where we went and it had the option to put on 4 of whatever toppings they offered and unlimited soup or salad for $12!!  We threw on green peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes!

Ricky says: The pizza was okay! Not very big. Umm. Little to much crust for my taste and not enough actual pizza.  I liked the freshly grated parm which was offered to us!  There wasn't enough sauce on the pizza but it came out with marinara that made up for it if you dumped it on top of your slice.

Jenn says: The mushrooms were fresh and not canned which is fucking cool since canned mushrooms are way to chewy, the tomatoes were cut in large slices which kind of made up for the lack of red sauce.  The crust had a weird aftertaste from whatever they cooked it on maybe a stone oven but it wasn't so bad and the fresh toppings made up for it the weirdness.

RIP!
